On a tour to promote his art in the United States, the famous plastic artist, Daniel Yordanov, arrived in Saint Augustine, with a unique style applying the mixed technique on the canvas.  Yordanov has titled it “El Murmullo de Las Piedras” where with a majesty of the brush he manages to move the great works of the classic and the gothic of the place where for thousands of years they sleep until he manages to take them, highlighted on a canvas, to any part of the world.

Historic City News was notified by Florida Department of Transportation Public Information Officer, Allen Nelson, that traffic will be impacted at the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations where roadwork is being conducted.

Be alert to lane closures and temporary detours, as well as increased congestion in these areas.  FDOT employees and contractors will be working on the roadways and need your full attention.

The Florida Department of Transportation reported to Historic City News that they will close the Bridge of Lions on Sunday, June 23rd from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. for routine bridge maintenance.

The City of St Augustine reported to Historic City News that the road work begun on Wednesday, June 19, will continue weekdays through Friday, June 28, from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Preferred Materials Inc., a city contractor, will be conducting road resurfacing
