The Florida Bar, the state’s guardian for the integrity of the legal profession, announced to Historic City News reporters that the Florida Supreme Court disciplined 15 attorneys in recent court orders.  They disbarred four, revoking the licenses of seven, suspending three and reprimanding one. County approves 2020 budget of more than $917 million

By the close of business Tuesday evening, the St Johns County Commission had unanimously approved a Fiscal Year 2020 budget that tops $917 million.  The Fiscal Year 2019 budget (October 1, 2018 through September 30, 2019) was close to $841.8 million, according to records available from the St Johns County Clerk of Court.

For over 15 years, St. Johns County students have participated in an art and poetry contest called, “A Day Without Violence”.  The contest focuses on peace in the home.  On display are the winners of the Betty Griffin Center annual calendar for 2020.
